Beginning/Intermediate Teen Jazz

Monday 7:30-8:15pm

6th-12th Grade | This class is for teen students with little to no pervious dance experience. This class is a great environment for teen students who want to get started dancing in a class with students their age. Students will learn overall body alignment from ballet exercises, which is the core of all other styles of dance. Along with learning jazz dance technique and movement quality there is emphasis on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythms, and style. [Class Attire: Black Leotard, Black Jazz Shorts, Tan Jazz Shoes]

Beginning/Intermediate Teen Hip Hop

Monday 8:15-9:00pm

6th-12th Grade | Teen students will take their hip hop skills to the next level in this class. Elements of popping, locking, and breaking as well as freestyle movement will be incorporated. [Class Attire: Athletic Dancewear, Clean-soled Tennis Shoes]

Teen Contemporary

Thursday 5:30-6:15pm – Class Full

6th-12th Grade | If your dancer loves moving and expressing themselves to modern day music, this is the class for them! Derived from Ballet and Modern technique, Contemporary is a style that allows dancers to explore themselves through technique and storytelling.

Teen Lyrical

Wednesday 8:15-9:00pm

6th-12th Grade | Students will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet, jazz, and modern dance styles. It emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students progress, curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. [Class Attire: Athletic Dancewear, Shoes Optional: Jazz shoes, Half-shoe or Footundeez allowed]

Step In The Spotlight Theater

Thursday 7:30-8:30pm

3rd-8th Grade | Lights, Camera, Action! Try something new and learn stage acting skills. Gain confidence through participating in a variety of theater activities. Enjoy coaching and interacting with your peers. In this class students will focus on all aspects of theater including: team work, relaxation, concentration, movement, acting, costuming, and the theater atmosphere.
