What are you most excited about for the upcoming year?
I’m so excited to meet all my new students & greet back my previous students.
What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I loving seeing the progress of EVERY student from the beginning of the year to the end.
What is your favorite memory during your teaching experience?
My first year teaching & my first hip hop class – I was SO nervous but the students came eager & worked hard. We had the best time!
What are you passionate about outside of working at Ovation?
My day job is in health care technology. As a nurse by trade, I’m passionate about improving health care.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My kids – Harrison & Jo.

Tell us 3 interesting facts about yourself
I was born & raised in Carthage! I once danced as the Nutcracker. I have two kids you may see visit me at the studio.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
A nice walk outside or a yummy afternoon drink!
Would you rather cook or order in? What are you eating based off that answer?
Cook a “new to me” recipe!
What’s your go-to midnight snack?
Probably something sweet!
What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t done yet? Why not?
See baby sea turtles go back into the ocean! I haven’t yet because I have to time a trip right!
What activity instantly calms you?
Reading a good book!
Do you have any hidden talents or special skills?
I am oddly good at pool & ping pong!
